Individual Therapy
Counselling is a safe haven, a place where you are able to let go of day-to-day responsibilities and put yourself first. The relationship between counsellor and client is special and should involve mutual respect, trust and honesty creating a bond which allows worries to be discussed openly and resolved with confidentiality in mind.
I offer an integrative approach to counselling which means using a range of tools and approaches. This method is centred on providing a unique and targeted treatment for you as an individual. This enables our work to be dynamic and collaborative which I believe is the most effective way to get the results you want.
What can you expect in a session?
Each session will be 50 minutes long. I recommend weekly sessions on or around the same time and day each week, with the space for one week off per month to process our work. This is flexible and I can work around your requirements, this can be discussed in our initial session.
Our sessions may give you a fresh perspective on an issue you have struggled and often helpful to know that someone understands.
You may have a secret that has been kept for many years without having the opportunity to discuss this with a friend or loved one. This can be discussed in a confidential space with myself knowing that you will not be judged.
Exploring an issue that has been troubling you can be freeing or difficult but ultimately knowing that you are supported through this will help get you to the other side.
